About the NSA Boston Chapters
The National Stuttering Association is the largest organization of people who stutter in the world and has over 150 local chapters across the country, offering support for both Adults and Families, and providing a supportive community for people who stutter. Our chapters are a place where people who stutter can make connections in their local communities. The NSA Boston Chapters consist of the Boston Family Chapter and the Boston Adult Chapter.

NSA Boston Adult Chapter
The NSA Boston Adult Chapter is open to adults who stutter, their friends and family, speech-language pathologists (SLPs), and anyone who wants to learn more about stuttering. Chapter meetings will give people an opportunity to share their experiences with stuttering. Chapter Leaders will offer various topics to spark discussion. Chapter meetings provide a supportive community and a safe space for people who stutter to come together.

The NSA Boston Adult Chapter typically meets on the first Thursday of each month at 7 PM. Our meetings rotate between in-person at Boston University, on Zoom, and at various restaurants around Boston (we love a social outing!). Follow us on social media,
join our email list, or the WhatsApp group to find out about
our next Adult Chapter meeting.
NSA Boston Family Chapter
The NSA Boston Family Chapter is designed for children and teens (ages 7-17) who stutter and their families. Family Chapters allow kids and teens who stutter to come together and participate in different activities to have fun while being among others who stutter.

The Family Chapter hosts various events around the Boston area, such as apple picking, bowling, and more! We also offer Teen Meet-Ups specifically designed for teenagers who stutter to come together. Follow us on social media or join our email list to find out about our next Family Chapter event!
